I have been an international visual artist for forty years. My travels have taken me to five continents and an array of cities, many of which have inspired my paintings.

I have had the privilege of carrying out humanitarian work in Haiti, Rwanda, and war-torn eastern Congo to document the stories of women and children through visual photo essays. UNESCO circulated my artwork in an exhibition that began in Paris and traveled the world.

In 2020 when the global COVID pandemic began, I became interested in creating abstract art. For me, painting transformed the fear, isolation, and disruption of the pandemic into a time of calm, creativity, and fulfillment.

The beauty of abstract art is the freedom it affords both me and the viewer. My art begins with a feeling, place, incident, or color. The viewer gets to interpret it as they wish. Most of the time I don’t know where the next piece of art is going to take me. It’s an endless journey of self-discovery.

Acrylic Abstracts

I think life is like abstract art, it’s up to you to make sense of it.

Acrylic Pours

Also known as fluid art, acrylic pours use mixing mediums to make the paint fluid. Consistency is important, to get the look you are creating. Different paints have different chemical reactions.
